The birthplace of Pilsner is the ancient city of Plzen (or Pilsen) which is located in the western half of the Czech Republic. Pilsner is a light color and crystal clear. Hops are prevalent with a light spicy bitterness and floral flavor and aroma, notably one of the defining characteristics of Saaz hop. Smooth and crisp with a clean malty palate. The malt flavors are complex and the bitterness is strong but clean and without harshness, which gives a rounded impression that enhances drinkability. ALC 5% IBU 42. Made in Armenia.
